Cork Audiological Services was founded in 1995 by Jean Hegarty, former Chief Audiologist at the South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital.
Cork Audiological Services is a real family business with Jean supported by both her son and daughter. Jane Hegarty joined Cork Audiological Services in 2013 and has since qualified as Hearing Aid Audiologist with qualification from Aston University. George joined Cork Audiological services during 2018. George has a Bachelors of Science in Audiology (Honors) from Queen Margaret’s University in Edinburgh. After spending time working in the UK hearing aid market George decided to come back to Ireland. Over 4 years George had several positions in the HSE including a year as a in the Acute Audiology department of Waterford University Hospital and a year as a Senior Audiologist in Community Audiology.
In Cork Audiological Services they also specialize in Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT) with Jean having taken a special interest in a range of Tinnitus treatments.
